Armitage Files is getting a lot of actual play, with groups running it for more than twenty sessions, as this thread on Yog-Sothoth, chocabloc with useful hints, demonstrates. Armitage Files encourages Keepers to incorporate player-made clues into the mystery – it’s not quite a do-it-yourself game such as InSpectres, but along the spectrum towards it from a Keeper-led mystery.
One Keeper, who has not played Trail before, is running Armitage Files as his first game. He and his players have created an intriguing blog – Keeping Cthulhu – which I’ll be following with interest.
Just found out about this post and I’m a bit freaked and intimidated. I’ve never been described as intriguing before.
Don’t worry, we are not following, so much as stalking!
It’s sort of like you’re dad turning up in the pub when you’re courting. Nice but weird. I hope you’re enjoying it.
